Rick Warren wrote, “Great people are ready to help me at just the right time, in just the right way, from people I don’t even know yet. I promise I will never give up because I don’t have what I need, but I will trust God to provide.” Watch God send people to meet needs, accomplish tasks, and open doors of opportunity that possibly only He and the person in need know about. If you see injustice, maybe God is preparing you to be part of the solution. He will come to you in unexpected ways. God gives favor and will instruct you each step of the way. He will meet all your financial needs even when the going gets tough. I have seen Him do this repeatedly in my ministry.

Moses pastured the flock of his father-in-law, Jethro.  After Moses came to Horeb, mountain of God, an angel appeared in blazing fire from a burning bush, which was not consumed. God told Moses to remove his sandals since he was standing on holy ground. He told him that “I am the God of your father. . .”  Moses hid his face for he was afraid to look at God. He reassured Moses that He had seen the affliction of His people in Egypt, listened to their cry because of the taskmaster and was aware of their sufferings. He came down to deliver them from the Egyptians to a land flowing with milk and honey where the Canaanites lived. God would send Moses to Pharaoh to bring His people out of Egypt. Moses said, “Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh and bring Israel out of Egypt?” God told him that He would be with him and that worshiping God at this mountain would be a sign (Ex. 3:1-12). God speaks in unexpected ways and surprising situations to place you into new realms of ministry.

Moses asked God what he should say when Israel asked him hard questions like, “What is His name?” God answered, “I Am Who I Am . . . This is My name forever and this is My memorial-name to all generations.”  God instructed Moses to gather the elders together, express his concern about the injustice and bring them out of Egyptian bondage to the land of the Canaanite that flows with milk and honey. The king would listen and Moses would tell him that “The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us and then say, ‘Please let us go on three days journey into wilderness that we may sacrifice to the Lord our God’” (Ex. 3:13-18). Listen to God to learn the next action steps in implementing your ministry.

God continued His instruction saying, “But I know the king will not permit you to go except under compulsion. So I will stretch out my hand, and strike Egypt will all My miracles . .  and he will let you go.” God reassured Moses that He would grant him favor from the Egyptians so they wouldn’t go empty-handed. Every woman would ask neighbor for silver, gold and clothing to provide for their families, which would plunder the Egyptians (Ex. 3:19-22). Listen to God for instructions on how to approach leaders and learn surprising ways He will provide.

Follow these instructions:
1. Is God giving you a burden about a particular injustice or need? Is so, what is it?
2. Listen to what God is saying to you
3. Take action concerning what He told you to do
4. Seek God for specific direction on how to approach leaders and listen
5. Watch how God provides through gifted individuals and finances to meet all your ministry needs
