A MRI of a wicked person reveals problems of pride, speech and actions along with bad attitudes that drive the other three elements. His discovery of wickedness flatters and makes him boastfulness. His words are wicked and deceitful. His actions cease to be wise or good. His wicked attitudes lead to bad results because he doesn't despise evil (Ps. 36:2-4).
In contrast, God's attribute of lovingkindness provides the enablement to conquer pride. His faithfulness allows you to have good speech and actions. His righteousness produces pure attitudes. God's judgments through His Word are very deep and beyond human reasonings. God's character is so great that it's infinite or beyond the heavens (Ps. 36:5-6).
Because God is so awesome, you can put off old and evil character listed in the first paragraph and put on righteous and new character through the power of God in Christ (Eph. 4:22-24):
1. Instead of being flattered or boastful about evil, you meditate on God's lovingkindness so pride doesn't gain a foothold (Ps. 36:5a,7a,11a).
2. Instead of deceitful words and actions, you take refuge in the shadow of God's faithfulness by feeding upon His word that not only provides wisdom but allows you to experience the perpetual fountain of life (Ps. 36:7b-9).
3. Instead of wicked attitudes, God's righteousness, being powerful like a mountain, imparts uprighteous into your heart and defeats evil doers (Ps. 36:6a,10-12).
